Pamela Maravilla Samuelson is a mostly L.A.-based multimedia performance artist who has performed for a wide and bizarre range of venues and events worldwide, including Lightning In a Bottle, various sold-out Puerto Rican stadiums, Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art, The Kitchen NYC, St. Ann's Warehouse, Bulgarian national television, the Bootleg Theater, Highways, Mindshare UCLA, First Fridays at Robin's Sculpture Garden, Galactic Unicorn Sandwich at King King, Rachel Rosenthal's Espace DbD, all over the great city of Black Rock, and on street corners on 3 continents. |
She also facilitates Aerial Playshops L.A. in which the people of Los Angeles can claim their superheroic birthright through the aerial arts. These classes currently run in Culver City on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
She will also be stepping up as the Reverend for the Aerial Church of Spontaneous Genius, which will run 4 Sunday mornings in March at the Bootleg Theater in Echo Park. |
Pamela is currently the director of performance and primary aerialist for Seven Star Sun, an L.A.-based performance company marrying interactive mapping and projection art with live dance theater.

She also works extensively with people of all ages in a wide variety of settings as an educator and facilitator, and is the co-founder and director of Crystal Camp, an L.A. based magical arts academy.

Lastly, she has been in private practice as a marvelous, sometimes even miracle-inducing intuitive bodyworker for 14 years, working with clients in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, New York and London. She is deeply trained in Shiatsu, Swedish, Esalen, Thai, Visionary Craniosacral, deep tissue, emotional release work, pregnancy and post-natal massage, visceral massage, yoga and breathwork, movement, visualization, and sound, and is capable healer, an imperturbable witness, and an excellent, clear channel.
